Marika, Japanese-American raised between Washington DC and New York City, and later Los Angeles and London, discovered her design sensibility during her years living in Italy. The many moves prompted her to expand her search to create where she belonged, and she studied under the tutelage of skilled Italian artisans in their respective crafts of upholstery and woodworking. However, her true expertise comes from a lifetime of understanding what makes a space resonate. Mentored by the famed artist Takashi Murakami, Marika's work in the fine art world informs everything she does as a designer, artist, and curator. She creates original paintings, advises on art acquisitions, hunts for antiques and objects with history, and has built a practice around the idea that the best interiors feel collected, not decorated. Her approach to design is rooted in art history, color theory, and the intuitive mixing of materials and periods—honoring each room's character and natural light while layering in texture, depth, and timelessness.

Antonello brings Italian technical mastery and an innate understanding of space, precision, and craft. The grandson of a renowned architect, he has a keen attention to detail and making the most of every square inch, ensuring that Marika's vision is executed flawlessly.
